Discipleship at Mountainside

Mountainside Community Church believes the most important thing is people finding Jesus. Therefore, we train Jesus followers to love God, love one another, and love people who need Jesus.

Jesus tells us in Luke 6:40 “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone, when he is fully trained, will be like his teacher.”

Mountainside is here to help train you and your family to be more like your teacher, Jesus. That’s every Christian’s goal and it’s called discipleship.

Our elders realize that discipleship can happen in many ways. Our goal is to help you, not discourage you. These plans are meant to be a biblical sampling of ways to learn from Jesus for yourself, as you disciple your family or as spouses disciple one another.
