Visiting a church can be intimidating whether you’re new to Mountainside Community Church, a brand new Christ-follower or you’re just exploring what this Jesus thing is all about. At Mountainside, we make it our priority to make you feel welcome, comfortable and loved.
We’d love to help answer your questions and explain how the gospel shapes our lives as a community of believers. Here are some commonly-asked questions.
What should I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you arrive at Mountainside Community Church, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our greeters will meet you at the door with a smile and answer any questions you might have.
Are you a new church?
Mountainside Community Church has been established for over 13 years since 2008. Our regular place of meeting was at Depoali Middle School on Sundays Mornings. Due to current events, we are meeting on Sunday Evenings at 8755 Technology Way #L.
What are the Sunday Services like?
Our service typically lasts one hour. During that time, we have an opening song, announcements, a lesson from the Bible, and finish with worship. We believe that the most important thing is people finding Jesus. Therefore, at our Sunday gatherings we pray that you will encounter Him.
Is there a dress code?
We have a casual atmosphere where all people from all backgrounds are accepted and loved. We do not have a dress code. However, face coverings are required at this time.
What type of church is this?
Are my kids welcome?
Yes! Please bring your family to join us for our 6pm Sunday Gatherings. Check out the Kids Ministry page for more info.
